Kashmira, I just used your book BLUE JASMINE during library class at Brent International School. Our students identified with Seema in many ways. Would you consider doing an author tour to SE Asia? If so, we would be very interested in talking further with you. Thank you again for a wonderful book.

Dear Patricia,
Thank you for your message. It is so satisfying for me to know that your students identified with Seema in many ways. I'd be interested in doing an author tour to SE Asia. You can email me at ksheth@tds.net

Namasthe dearest Kashmiraji,
first time I read a book written by you called "Koyal black and Mango sweet". Due to your words I was touched by heart so pure and deeply and it had given tears into my eyes during I read. Yours speech is sooo incredible typical Indian, so "flowerish" and so discribful, I just dreamed and imagined yours places very much realistically. How? Yes, because I visited several times Mom India especially the South, my Tamil Nadu Chennai, Pondicherry,Thiruvannamalai, Chengam and of course I visited Gujarat, its manufactories, fields close by Sidhpur, Palanpur..I have seen Mount Abu and a lot more...but the most best experiences I had was the pureness of unconditional love given by my sweet Indian "sisters"..even I couldn't understand them wordly, they just spoke Gujarati, but the understanding was by heart, mind and soul. - Still my eyes a filled up with tears and I feel the longing and missing to Bharatma. Often I am listening "Vande Mataram" and MS Subbulaxmi with Suprabhatam in the morning..O dear Kashmira, I am very happy and my heart will keep quite, if finally I will be back to MOM India, my heart-soul-mind place. -
Will you come to Germany once? If yes, please, be my special guest in my house. I can cook a lot of Indian dishes as some of your very tasty ones which you discribed in your book "Schwarzer Vogel, suesse Mango", which is the German title of "Black Bird, Sweet Mango".
Still I wish you a very happy New Year 2009 with flowers in your path, success and good luck, health and peaceful enlighten moments...yours Heike called Radha in India
If possible, please, I am waiting for a return...thank you so much for writing books

Dear Radha,
You wrote such a sweet note and touching note. Your love for India and your friends there came through. Sometimes we don't need language to show our respect and regards. I have not gone to Tamil Nadu and hope to get there someday soon. I would love to visit Pondicherry
I love Vande Mataram. It is such a beautiful song.
I visited Germany many years ago and would love to come back. I might be able to do so this spring. If I do, I will let you know.
warm wishes,
Kashmira

Namaste, Marjon! It is wonderful to hear from you. Just like you, I love Jeeta's spunk and determination and I am glad you enjoyed her journey. While writing the story, her voice was so strong in my head that I felt like I was Jeeta. It is nice to know you connected and identified with her!
Best wishes,
Kashmira
